Stephanie Mertens was a visiting student at the BSPL lab during the Fall 2018 semester. At the lab, she focused on studying the behavioral aspects of sustainability and investigated the psychological determinants of purchasing decisions in the energy domain. Specifically, her work examined how varying expressions or translations of energy consumption can enhance decision making on a cognitive and behavioral level.

Stephanie received her Ph.D in Psychology from the University of Geneva and now works as a behavioral scientist at the Ontario Cabinet Office | Bureau du Conseil des ministres de l'Ontario.
