Thank you for your interest in a graduate position in our lab. BSPL brings together graduate students from a variety of Princeton programs, primarily from Psychology and the School of Public & International Affairs - Science, Technology, & Environmental Policy cluster (SPIA-STEP).

Dr. Elke Weber will not be considering Princeton Psychology Department applicants for the upcoming cycle (applications due in 2025, start in 2026). However, we will be accepting applicants from the Princeton Doctor of Philosophy in Public Affairs in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy (STEP) program. 

 

Post-Doctoral Fellows

💡NEW OPPORTUNITY💡 Postdoctoral Research Associate Opportunity at BSPL:  We are seeking outstanding researchers as a Postdoctoral Research Associates or more senior researchers starting in the Summer of 2026 or sooner. The researcher(s) will join a Princeton-funded project on the social, political, and policy dimensions of decarbonization and renewable energy expansion in the U.S. The researcher(s) will work with a group of interdisciplinary scholars across multiple institutions, led by Elke Weber and Chris Greig at Princeton University. The position(s) will be based at the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment, which is focused on resolving critical challenges to securing a sustainable energy and environmental future. High Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI) Postdoctoral Research Associate Opportunity:  High Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI) invites applications for postdoctoral research associates and more senior research positions focusing on the scientific, technical, policy, and human dimensions of environmental issues. These areas include issues surrounding global change; energy and climate; biogeochemical cycles; molecular geochemistry; biodiversity; conservation; environmental science and policy; infectious disease and global health; and sustainable development in impoverished and resource-challenged regions of the world. Undergraduate Research Assistants

Undergraduates please contact our lab manager Sofia ([email protected]) if you are interested in working as a research assistant. We hire undergrad RAs on a need basis. All of those interested in joining as a JP student, a thesis student, work-study student, or a volunteer research assistant should contact our lab manager. 

Princeton University undergraduates interested in the lab's work are also encouraged to apply to the HMEI Environmental Scholars Program if interested in pursuing an independent research project with Dr. Elke Weber as an adviser. 

Princeton University undergraduates can also apply to Andlinger's Summer Internship program and select to work with Elke Weber as an adviser. 

We do not have any opportunities for high school students to join the lab as a research assistant.
