Members of the BSPL attended this year’s Behavioral Decision Research in Management (BDRM) Conference. BDRM is the leading conference for behavioral research with business and organizational implications. It brings together scholars conducting cutting-edge research in decision making, consumer behavior, experimental and behavioral economics, decision analysis, behavioral finance, organizational behavior, negotiation, behavioral strategy, behavioral operations research, behavioral accounting, and medical and legal decision making, among other areas.

Dr. Elke Weber delivered a talk on Query Theory titled “Query Theory: A Cognitive Process Account of How Judgments and Preferences Are Constructed.” She also served as a panelist in the plenary session, “The Impact of Behavioral Research in Management.”

In addition, our lab manager, Sofia Silvosa, presented at the “Better Outcomes for Organizations and Society” mini-conference, where she shared her work, “Disentangling Organizational Culture Signals that Promote Workplace Pro-Environmental Behavior: Evidence from a Conjoint Experiment.”
