On the recommendation of the Department of Organizational Behavior, HEC Lausanne (UNIL) is awarding this year's I.N.S.P.I.R.E. Award to Professor Elke U. Weber, a psychologist and researcher recognized internationally for her work on human decision-making in the face of risk, uncertainty, and climate change.

The I.N.S.P.I.R.E. "INspiring Success: Promoting Inclusion, Research, and Excellence," presented by HEC Lausanne, previously called Female Career Award, has been given each year since 2018 to a researcher within the international academic community whose exemplary career inspires the next generation and encourages women's careers in academia.

HEC Lausanne honored and welcomed Prof. Elke U. Weber on Thursday, November 20, on campus for the I.N.S.P.I.R.E. award ceremony. On her visit, Dr. Weber shared the results of one of her research projects with an audience of students and scientists during her lecture entitled “A Process Account of Constructed Judgments or Preferences.”
